Europe’s most welcoming cities, according to locals

How we built this

The survey asked: “Is the city where you live a good place or not a good place to live for the following groups?” for people in general, racial and ethnic minorities, gay or lesbian people, immigrants from other countries, families with young children and elderly people. We show the share who said “a good place to live”, leaving out people who did not know or did not answer. These are residents’ views, not official measures of discrimination or services.
